Community Code of Conduct

The Castle Community Code of Conduct applies to any venue that is part of the community, including but not limited to the Castle mobile app, the Castle Discord server, the Castle Twitch channel, and any other event or forum hosted by Castle.

Content you post on Castle, including your cards and decks, is subject to this Code of Conduct.

We are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of level of experience, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, or other similar characteristic.

Please avoid using overtly sexual aliases or other nicknames that might detract from a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all.

Please be kind and courteous. There’s no need to be mean or rude.

We will exclude you from interaction if you insult, demean or harass anyone. That is not welcome behavior. We interpret the term “harassment” as including the definition in the Citizen Code of Conduct; if you have any lack of clarity about what might be included in that concept, please read their definition. In particular, we don’t tolerate behavior that excludes people in socially marginalized groups.

Private harassment is also unacceptable. No matter who you are, if you feel you have been or are being harassed or made uncomfortable by a community member, please contact one of our Discord moderators or email us at

Likewise any spamming, trolling, flaming, baiting or other attention-stealing behavior is not welcome.

Remarks and behavior that violate our Code of Conduct are not allowed.

If you report an incident of harassment to the Castle staff, you can expect to be listened to and taken seriously. The moderator will take action they deem appropriate in response depending on the scale and severity of the incident. For example:

  • Discuss the perpetrator’s behaviour with them and ask them to stop. Explain what they have done and why it is unacceptable. Remind the perpetrator of the code of conduct.
  • Temporarily exclude the perpetrator from the Castle community until their behavior improves.
  • Permanently exclude the perpetrator from the Castle community.

Blocking people and reporting decks

In the Castle mobile app, you can block another person for any reason. Once blocked, that person's decks won't show up in your feed, and their actions will not send you notifications. Blocked people are never notified when they are blocked. To block someone, go to their deck, press "...", then press the Block button.

Also in the Castle mobile app, if you notice a card or deck that you find objectionable or you believe violates this Code of Conduct, you can report the deck. The deck will no longer show up in your feed and the Castle moderators will be notified of your report. To report a deck, tap the "..." button and then press "Report and hide".
