for anyone thinking castle's suddenly "money hungry" because of this just know that castles been constantly losing money. this subscription is the only way they can actually earn money from castle so they can keep the app up and besides, the subscription is for non-intrusive things (like bricks and pfp frames). you don't have to like this subscription and if you don't, just don't buy it

why, just why, why cant castle just be simple and fun, instead of people using pfp frames to flex their membership, i wish i could go back to like 2022 or something
