If you don't know, YouTube has released their new AI age verification update. This update uses AI to scan your search history, your channel history, and your watch history on YouTube. Then, after the scan, YouTube's AI will then determine if you're a minor or an adult. If you are deemed a minor by YouTube, you will lose access to a multitude of YouTube videos that you can watch before. To revert your account back into an adult account, you have to lend your ID to YouTube. This relates to the greater problem of new restrictions on the internet, where hundreds of pieces of content are being wiped for being unsuitable for children.
