You know, you should actually try one of my favorite art styles in Castle. I call it D-Lined or 2-Lined. It's where you can somehow use fuzzy outlines which is optional, but you outline something twice. The second line doesn't need to be perfect so it looks better with little thicker spots. Finally, use cozy, and warm colors: say, a Pumpkin orange. You might like it too :)
