Original means "the very first." Original comes from the Latin word originem, which means "beginning or birth." Whether you're using it as an adjective to describe something that is literally the very first, or as a noun meaning something that serves as a model for making copies, original means "first."

Remixing an original deck is helpful because if you remix a deck that is not the original, you will create a remix chain that might drive people insane looking for the original deck like me! If you see a tag in a remix party deck that says “remix the original” then do it! Its not that hard.
