For anyone that doesn't know what Is the SEGA MEGA-CD (or sega CD in North america) i'll show you the story of It. It all started 1991 in Japan where SEGA OF JAPAN released an add-on for the SEGA MEGADRIVE (SEGA GENESIS in North america) called SEGA MEGA-CD. Then in 1992 It was released in the U.S.A. as SEGA CD and in Europe in 1993 as SEGA MEGA-CD. soon After It was released the model 2 in all regions. At the end It didn't have a great library and It was considered to be a failure
