I've been thinking about this, so just hear me out, EFC stands for "Eyeless Forgotten Character", you see, He seems like he was a messed up science experiment, trying to clone life. When the experiment failed, his creators (the scientists) decided he was useless, but one secretly took care of him. But when EFC's caretaker was discovered, they were taken away, never seen again. That's when the scientists thought EFC should never be seen again, so they brainwashed him and left him out on the streets to starve But they didn't realize that EFC survived, wandering the world he was put into, forever wondering why he ever lived in the first place...
