What makes this game so amazing is the attention to detail - the squares around food that you can eat, the arrow pointing to your next meal, the carefully calculated percentage counter and awards for time, the last eaten display, the way the squares around food change color depending on the food, the imperceptible animation that happens when you eat, the many ways the game references the story, and the carefully crafted level design that forces you to use every scrap of food.
All of these are things that you didn’t need to add, that you still would have had an amazing deck without. They likely took you a lot of time, and they’re just the tiniest details.
This level of polish is what makes the game great. I can tell an astounding amount of effort went into this - this game deserves to be on Staff Picks.
