The French Revolution was on May 5th, 1789, due to economic struggles from the Seven Years' War. The food shortages leaded to workers not being able to work, causing the crisis. Many royalists were killed by head slicers (guillotines.) The Vendée Rebellion in Nantes in 1792 slowed France down, but Austria sued for peace.
