I like how one little like drop of ichor is a heart

I'm attempting to guess lore again, dandy accidentally broke the jar, and it wen deep his throat and took over his body. And then he (obviously) got infected, everyone ran away, seeing him as a monster. But he wasn't a monster yet. This is only stage 1 or 2.

Could you explain the meaning, i dont really understand this…😅😅😅
