I think you should be a castle game dev on free times or pursue your dream job! Being a real game dev is nice and fun and you get payed! But if you don’t want to don’t! I say it’s your choice! If you wanna start as a real game dev I’d suggest taking some good classes! (Some are free but some cost money-) but do what ever it’s your life not ours :)
