Lore: Jax hates Pomni's ideas of finding an exit because he cares about her. Abstraction is caused by emotional problems and obsessing over finding an exit. He misses Ribbit and Kaufmo, and he doesn't want her to get abstracted too. The reason why he is so mean is because he is trying to feel better about himself. The only reason he isn't abstracted is because of masking and distracting himself from the past.
