Effective Date: July 30, 2026
These Castle Creator Payout Program Terms (“Payout Terms”) govern participation in Castle’s creator payout program (the “Program”). These Payout Terms are Additional Terms incorporated into the Castle Terms of Service (“Castle Terms”).
By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to these Payout Terms and the Castle Terms. If you are not old enough to enter into this agreement independently, your parent or legal guardian must accept these Payout Terms as provided below.
If these Payout Terms conflict with the Castle Terms, these Payout Terms control only with respect to the Program.
“Creator” means an eligible Castle user who creates, publishes, maintains, supports, or otherwise contributes qualifying content, games, experiences, services, or functionality through Castle.
“Creator Contributions” means the content, games, experiences, assets, updates, support, moderation assistance, and other contributions a Creator provides through Castle.
“Creator Services” means the services a Creator voluntarily provides to Castle in connection with creating, publishing, maintaining, supporting, securing, or improving Creator Contributions and participating in the Castle creator ecosystem.
“Earned Bricks” means Bricks that Castle provisionally classifies as earned based on eligible creator activity under the Program. Earned Bricks are an accounting designation used to determine possible Creator Fees; they are not money or a cash balance.
“Creator Fees” means monetary fees Castle approves and pays a Creator for Creator Services under these Payout Terms.
“Payout Request” means a request that Castle review qualifying Earned Bricks and, if approved, calculate and pay Creator Fees.
“Payout Provider” means a third party Castle uses for identity verification, tax onboarding, compliance checks, payment processing, or related services. Castle’s current Payout Providers include Trolley and PayPal, but Castle may add or replace providers.
“Payout Page” means the Castle page or in-product disclosure identifying the current minimum threshold, conversion methodology, supported countries, request limits, and other Program details.
To submit a Payout Request, you must:
Meeting these requirements permits you to submit a request but does not guarantee approval. Castle decides admission to and continued participation in the Program in its reasonable discretion, subject to applicable law.
Castle may request additional documentation or information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity, age, guardian authority, tax status, rights in Creator Contributions, or eligibility.
A Creator must be at least 13 to submit a Payout Request.
If a Creator is under the age of majority where the Creator lives:
Castle may require the legal payee’s name and payment account to correspond with the identity and tax information provided during onboarding. The appropriate payee and taxpayer arrangement may depend on the Creator’s age, country, and applicable law.
Users under 13 may use Castle as otherwise permitted, but they may not submit Payout Requests or independently enroll in the Program.
Creator Fees are payments from Castle for Creator Services. They are not a transfer, withdrawal, redemption, or distribution of money paid by another user.
Castle may use eligible Earned Bricks and related activity as measurement inputs when calculating Creator Fees. This does not make Creator Fees a pass-through of user funds, a percentage of funds held for a user, or a claim against any particular user transaction.
When providing Creator Services, you act as an independent contractor and not as Castle’s employee, worker, agent, partner, joint venturer, franchisee, fiduciary, or legal representative.
Unless Castle agrees otherwise in a separate signed agreement:
Castle’s platform rules, technical requirements, safety standards, and content moderation do not by themselves create an employment or agency relationship.
You have no right to collect payment from a Castle user for a transaction conducted through Castle. A user’s use of Bricks in connection with your Creator Contribution does not create a contract, fiduciary relationship, payment obligation, or debtor-creditor relationship between you and that user.
Castle may provisionally credit Earned Bricks based on eligible activity involving Creator Contributions. The eligible activities, calculation method, and applicable exclusions may be described on the Payout Page.
Bricks do not qualify as Earned Bricks merely because they appear in your account. In particular, the following are not eligible unless Castle expressly says otherwise:
When a user uses Bricks in connection with your Creator Contribution, the user’s Bricks are consumed or used under the user’s separate transaction with Castle. Castle may then create a separate Earned Brick credit in its records. The user’s Bricks are not transferred into your account.
Castle’s records control the classification and amount of Earned Bricks, subject to correction of a manifest error.
If you use Earned Bricks for an in-platform transaction before submitting a Payout Request, the used Bricks are no longer available for a Payout Request.
Earned Bricks:
Castle may show an estimated monetary amount in a dashboard. Any estimate is informational, may change, and is not an account statement, promise, or approved payment.
For clarity, Castle may use the product terms “cash out” or “payout” to describe requesting payout review. A cash-out or payout request is an application for Castle to calculate and approve Creator Fees. It is not a withdrawal or redemption of money held in an account for you.
You may submit a Payout Request only after satisfying the minimum threshold stated on the Payout Page.
Unless Castle states otherwise, you may submit no more than one (1) Payout Request per thirty (30) days.
Castle may impose reasonable minimum and maximum request amounts, transaction limits, or reserve requirements based on fraud, chargeback, tax, provider, or compliance considerations.
If Castle approves a Payout Request, Castle will calculate the Creator Fee using the methodology or rate shown on the Payout Page for the applicable Earned Bricks.
The applicable methodology may account for:
Unless the Payout Page expressly provides otherwise, a rate displayed in a dashboard is an estimate and is not locked until Castle approves the request.
A Payout Request is subject to review. Castle may verify:
Castle may request additional information before deciding a request. Failure to provide requested information may delay or prevent approval.
A Payout Request is not approved until Castle communicates approval or transmits an approved payment instruction to its Payout Provider.
After approval, Castle will initiate payment through the selected Payout Provider within a reasonable time period, subject to applicable withholding, provider processing times, provider availability, and legal restrictions.
Once Castle finally approves a Creator Fee, Castle’s obligation to pay that approved amount is no longer discretionary, except to the extent an adjustment is permitted under Section 8.
Castle may hold, reduce, deny, reverse, or offset a Payout Request or Creator Fee when Castle reasonably determines that:
Castle may place a request on hold for a reasonable period while investigating. Where appropriate and legally permitted, Castle will tell you the general reason for a denial or material adjustment and provide a way to contact support.
If Castle discovers an adjustment after payment, Castle may deduct the amount from future Creator Fees or require repayment. Castle will not recover an amount solely because Castle later changed its payout rate or Program economics.
Castle currently uses the third-party providers Trolley and PayPal for aspects of payout onboarding and payment processing. Castle may use additional or replacement providers.
To receive payment, you may be required to:
You authorize Castle to provide relevant identity, account, transaction, tax, and Program information to Payout Providers as described in Castle’s Privacy Policy.
Castle or a Payout Provider may reject, delay, return, restrict, or block a payment under its own rules or applicable law. Castle is not responsible for delays caused solely by a provider, banking network, or inaccurate information you supplied, but Castle remains responsible for properly initiating a finally approved Creator Fee.
You may not use a payout account belonging to another person unless Castle and the Payout Provider expressly authorize the arrangement.
Provider and foreign-exchange fees: Creator is responsible for provider, receiving-bank, intermediary-bank, and foreign-exchange fees associated with a payout, as disclosed on the Payout Page.
Creator Fees may constitute taxable income. You are responsible for determining and satisfying your tax obligations, including income, self-employment, value-added, goods and services, or similar taxes that apply to you.
Castle or a Payout Provider may:
You must promptly update inaccurate or expired tax information.
Castle does not provide personal tax advice. A minor Creator and the Creator’s parent or guardian should determine, with their own tax adviser where appropriate, whose information must be supplied and how Creator Fees must be reported.
Participation in the Program does not change the ownership and license provisions in the Castle Terms.
Creator Fees constitute consideration for the Creator Services and applicable licenses you provide under the Castle Terms. Unless Castle signs a separate agreement, you are not entitled to any additional royalty, revenue share, residual, or other compensation.
To remain eligible, Castle may require you to:
These requirements do not obligate Castle to continue hosting or promoting a Creator Contribution.
Castle does not guarantee:
You should not incur expenses or make financial commitments in reliance on anticipated Earned Bricks or Creator Fees.
Castle may change the Program, including eligibility standards, minimum thresholds, request frequency, supported countries, calculation methods, rates, providers, reserves, or eligible activities.
Material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated through the Services, by email, or on the Payout Page as required by applicable law.
A change will not reduce a Creator Fee that Castle already finally approved, except for a permitted adjustment under Section 8.
If Castle generally discontinues the Program for reasons other than fraud, security, or legal necessity, Castle will provide eligible Creators a reasonable wind-down period to submit a final Payout Request, subject to the minimum threshold, review requirements, and applicable law.
Castle may suspend or terminate your Program participation if:
If participation ends for reasons other than fraud or a serious violation, Castle may permit you to submit a final Payout Request, provided you meet the minimum threshold and all other requirements.
Unapproved estimated amounts below the minimum threshold are not payable when an account or Program participation ends, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Amounts associated with fraud, manipulation, infringement, material misrepresentation, or other serious violations may be denied or forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
You represent and warrant that:
The indemnity, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law, arbitration, and dispute-resolution provisions in the Castle Terms apply to the Program.
However, the Castle Terms’ general limitation of liability does not limit Castle’s obligation to pay a Creator Fee that Castle has finally approved, subject to Sections 8 through 10 of these Payout Terms.
Nothing in these Payout Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These Payout Terms and the Castle Terms constitute the agreement governing the Program. They do not give rights to any Castle user who is not a participating Creator or authorized parent or guardian.
You may not assign your participation, Earned Bricks, Payout Requests, or Creator Fees without Castle’s written approval. Castle may assign these Payout Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or transfer of the relevant business.
Sections concerning adjustments, taxes, intellectual property, repayment, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and any finally approved but unpaid Creator Fees survive termination as necessary to give them effect.
